Where do you begin?
Discuss your dreams with our team and leave the details to us! Your wedding day will be exactly as you imagined!
Enjoy the glorious view over the calming waters of St. Margaret’s Bay. With a stunning panoramic back-drop, our events facility
allows you to host up to 180 people, with an additional 100 seats on our patio.
Our experienced events team is committed to exceeding your expectations, assisting you with
everything from transportation to on-site dining options, lobster dinners, boat and land tours,
accommodations and much more! Your Shining Waters wedding goes beyond the rental space.
Shining Waters is unlike any other venue, and is only 20 minutes from Halifax.
Enjoy an on-site seaside ceremony
Say your vows with the sunset as your backdrop and the ocean at your feet. Choose to host your ceremony on our patio overlooking the marina and bay or under the oceanside apple trees.
An on-site ceremony includes:
• Wedding arch
• Signing table
• Ceremony set-up including available chairs
• Use of space prior to wedding day for wedding rehearsal
• Ceremony planning meeting
There are wonderful places on our property to have your wedding photos captured. Treat your guests to a pre-reception cocktail, appetizers and a signature drink named in your honour, before you make your grand entrance!
Your Shining Waters wedding reception includes:
• Our seaside venue set to your specification for your special day
• Included with your room reservation, setup for dining, gift, guest book and cake tables, chairs, dance area and placement of decorations
• Crisp white linen & white skirting
• Complete bar service including optional consultation with a wine expert & signature drink named in your honour
• Consultations with an event coordinator to help you create checklists and plan your perfect day
• Site visit meeting & two planning meetings prior to your special day included. Full service event planning and decor packages also available
